Lonnie Lee Bishop was born on May 28th, 1959 to the late Mary Lee Bishop.Lonnie was preceded in death by his mom, Mary Lee Bishop, brother, Otis Blanks, sisters, Avis Bradshaw, Stacey Mayfield, and twin sisters, Darlene and Marlene Bishop.
Lonnie was a firm believer is Christ.
Lonnie went to Wright City High School where he played basketball and got the nickname “Mack-a-Do.” He graduated in 1978.
Lonnie worked all of his life. He worked at Borg Warner in the warehouse and Charleswood Furniture in Wright City. In Warrenton he worked the last fifteen years at SAF Holland (known as Binkley) until he retired.
Lonnie was united in marriage to Wyketa Washington on Valentine’s Day, Feburary 14th, 1999.
Lonnie loved to play Dominoes, and a card game called Five and Up, with his family.
He also loved to drive up and down J Road, stopping to talk with anyone that was out and about. He also loved listening to music, especially the Blues.
Lonnie leaves to cherish his loving wife Wyketa Bishop, his son, Lamar Bishop, his daughter Lonnisha Bishop, his mother-in-law, Connie Straughter, his brothers, Florence (Laura) Blanks, Cornelius Blanks, Eddie Cotton, his twin brother (his other half), Donnie (Debra) Bishop, George Mozee, Wilbur (Stephanie) Mozee, and his only dear sister, Bertie Jones, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
