Loretta "Retta" F. (Molitor) Bruns

Loretta Bruns, nee Molitor passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at the age of 70 years.
She is survived by four children, Jerry Bruns of Warrenton, MO, Terry Bruns of Foristell, MO, Carrie Eckelkamp of Wright City, MO, and Larry Bruns and his wife, Lindsey of Foristell, MO, three grandchildren, Dalton Bruns, Wyatt Bruns, and Eleanor Bruns.  Five siblings, Richard Molitor of Marthasville, MO, William Molitor and wife, Sandy of Defiance, MO, Conrad Molitor and wife, Karen of Flint Hill, MO, Florence Joerling and husband, Gene of New Melle, and Jane Huddleston of Marthasville, MO.
Loretta was born January 29, 1951 in St. Charles, Missouri; daughter of the late August Molitor and wife, Florence Hoeckelman Molitor. Loretta was a member of Immanulate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in New Melle.  She was employed by Short Stops Convenience Store in New Melle.  Loretta retired from Daniel Boone Elementary where she was a Custodial Engineer for many years.  Loretta enjoyed being outdoors watching birds, gardening, the scent of flowers and trees surrounding her.  In addition, she took pleasure in painting and puzzles.  
Loretta was preceded in death by Gary Bruns (father of her children), seven siblings, August Molitor, Jr., Gerald Molitor, Robert Molitor, Glennon Molitor, Mary Ann Rhodes, Elizabeth Thompson, and Michael Molitor.
