Lorraine J. (Hakenewerth) Salfen

Lorraine J. Salfen passed away on July 6, 2020 at the age of 96. She was the beloved wife of the late Clarence Salfen formerly of Dardenne, Missouri; She is survived by her two sons, Danny (Nancy) Salfen of Foristell, MO, Rick Salfen of Bellflower, MO; two daughters, Margie (Gerry) Prinster of Warrenton, MO, Karen (Don) Smythe of Moscow Mills, MO; brother, Melvin (Mary Ann) Hakenewerth of Flint Hill, MO; 19 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren;  She is preceded in death by her father, John Hakenewerth, mother, Lucy Hakenewerth, husband, Clarence Salfen, daughter, Elaine Prewitt, daughter, Linda Salfen, brother, John  Hakenewerth, brother, Urban Hakenewerth, brother, Kenneth Hakenewerth, brother, Edgar Hakenewerth, sister, Bernadine Feldewerth, sister, Marie Meyer, sister, Adelaide Rhodes. Lorraine was a dedicated member of Immaculate Conception Church. She enjoyed volunteering her time at church picnics. Lorraine took pleasure in taking care of her flowers. She loved her family and enjoyed being with all of them.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
