Louis, known to his family and friends as “Ed”, was a member of the Wentzville United Methodist Church. He was a quiet man of few words, but to those who knew him he lived and served with a big heart. As an active member of the Wentzville community, he served for many years as Executive Vice President of Wentzville State Bank (now Commerce Bank), and after retirement worked at Progress Park. He was active in Rotary Club, St. Charles County Youth Fair Board, Wentzville School Board and a founding member of the St. Charles County Economic & Development Board.
Passionate about his family, he was happiest when around his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed traveling with Sandy and his family, and was an avid Mizzou and St. Louis Cardinal fan.
