Madonna Lorraine Mrzlack was a loving, caring sister, aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend. She passed away Monday, June 28, 2021 at the age of 74 years.
She was born July 7, 1946; daughter of the late John and Lorraine (nee Prine) Mrzlack.
She is survived by her sister, Christine Van Gels and husband, William; nephews, William Van Gels II and wife, Alisa, Timothy Van Gels and wife, Andrea, John Van Gels and wife, Katie; niece, Michelle Palubiak and husband, Scott; great nieces and nephews, Willie, Ali, Ellie, Paul, Timmy, Nathan, and Olivia; cousins, and dear friends.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was an adventurous spirit who enjoyed exploring and traveling. She was a Disney enthusiast with an extraordinary talent for crocheting and cross-stitching. Her legacy lives on through the countless beautiful gifts she produced.
She was a devout Catholic who devoted her prayers to the Blessed Mother. Madonna loved people and animals unconditionally. She had a generous heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. Madonna was unique and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
