Madonna E. Zoellner (nee Boul) passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 64 years, 9 months, and 14 days.

Madonna was born on March 7, 1960 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Clarence Boul and Dorothy Boul (nee Coffey). She is also preceded in death by her siblings: Pat Boul, Theresa Boul, and Paul Boul; and nephew, Kevin Lamb.

Madonna is survived by her loving husband, James Zoellner, Sr; and children: Michelle (Dennis, Jr.) Henry, Melissa (Jason) Davis, Jimmy (Jennifer) Zoellner, and Jessica (Scott) Standiford.

She was also a loving Memaw of: Hunter, McKenna, Chase, Ethan, Ryder, Kaitlyn, Logan, Peter, and James; sister of: Mickey (Mike) Lamb, Mike (Terry) Boul, Kevin (Judy) Boul, and Tim (Jenifer) Boul; sister-in-law of Sheila Boul; and loving aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, and friend to many.

Madonna worked in the medical field, for many years, as a medical assistant, with the Boonslick Medical Group and Metropolitan Neurology. She was a passionate St. Louis Blues fan. And, being a real hockey nut, she served as booster club president for the Missouri River Otters hockey team for several years. She also loved musical theatre, supporting performances at both The Muny and Fox Theatres. She passed that passion on to her children, and grandchildren. She loved listening to music, especially Neil Diamond and Reba McEntire.

Madonna was an avid animal lover. She has adopted many dogs, over the years, most recently leaving behind her devoted service dog, Winnie (who, alerted to both of her strokes). She was a proud supporter of Police Officers, especially K-9 Police Officers. She was a member of the first responder support group Wall of Heroes.
