Majoria J. (Erwin) Davis

Majoria Joyce Davis (nee:Erwin) went to be with her Lord on April 15, 2024 at the age of 83. Majoria was born in Mt. Vernon, Indiana on January 21, 1941, daughter of Elisha Erwin, Sr. and Elsie (Roach) Erwin.  She married Gail Bush on October 26, 1959 and to this marriage two children were born, Duane and Marcy. She and Gail were married 34 years prior to his passing on December 27, 1993. She later married Bob Davis on January 9, 1998 and they were married 14 years prior to his passing on November 4, 2012.
Majoria was a member of First Baptist Church of O’Fallon. She had many interests including working jigsaw and word search puzzles, playing Nertz and Pinochle card games, and fishing. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan and enjoyed cheering them on. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.  
She is survived by her son, Duane (Karla) Bush of Saline, MI; daughter, Marcy (Tom) Ruff of Innsbrook, MO; two sisters, Linda Erwin of Cadiz, KY, Marjorie McGennis of Evansville, IN; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Sam), Emily (David), Kaegan (Victoria), Mikayla (Stefan), Elsie, Logan, Landon; five great-grandchildren, Esther, Eleanor, Eliza, Eliana, Olivia;  She is preceded in death by her father, Elisha Erwin, Sr., mother, Elsie Erwin, first husband, Gail Bush, second husband, Bob  Davis, brother, Walter Erwin, brother, Elisha Erwin, Jr., brother, Gerald Erwin.
