Marie "Madie" A Abrolat passed away on April 16, 2022 at the age of 90 in Florida. Madie was born August 3, 1931 in St. Louis, MO to the late Walter and Marie Abrolat nee Rothenbuecher.
Madie was a member of the Catholic faith and enjoyed fishing and spending time at the beach. She also enjoyed gambling, scratch offs, reading western books, and doing word searches. She loved her many cats and her dog Fifi dearly. Madie had a love for travel. In her early years, she visited Germany and took many trips with her family to Nashville. Also known as Aunt Madie to her many nieces and nephews, she took them on yearly trips to visit many states, especially enjoying summertime in Florida. Madie continued to write letters and cards to her family faithfully. Family and friends will always cherish the birthday and anniversary cards that always showed up on the exact date, even if it was an overseas package. Madie's love for her country always shined through, even in her last days. She will always be known as a proud Republican. President Ronald Reagan and President Trump were her favorites. Our Tante will always be missed and a smile will always come to our faces when we hear polka music.
