Mark Christopher

Mark Christopher of Troy, Missouri, passed away on November 20, 2025 at the age of 66. He is survived by his beloved wife, Penny Christopher (née: Schuster) of Troy, Missouri; two sons, Matthew Christopher of Wright City, Missouri, Mark H. Christopher of Troy, Missouri; brother, David (Sandy) Christopher; sister, Annie Williams; sister-in-law, Janie Christopher; Uncle Johnny (Irene) Christopher; Aunt Ruth Christopher; three grandchildren, Jordyn, Gwenith, and Austin; many nieces, nephews and cousins.  

He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Christopher, mother, Shirley Christopher (née: Bryson), brother, Rick Christopher, brother, Bill Christopher, sister, Debbie Williams.  

Mark and Penny were married on October 5, 1996 and celebrated 29 years together. Mark was an active member of Faith Christian Family Church and deeply valued his faith and community. He found joy in working on lawn mowers, tending to his yard, and creating wood cutouts. Mark was an avid fan of football and baseball, and he cherished watching old western movies. Mark had a love of trucks, he built an extensive and impressive collection of die-cast trucks, each piece was carefully choosen and proudly dispalyed. Music was a special part of his life, especially the song “Joy to the World” by Three Dog Night, which held special meaning for him and his sons.

Mark loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren, and shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Skylar May. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
