Mark Steven Viehland passed away on August 2, 2026 at the age of 64. He is survived by his three children, Samantha (Mike) Gossard, Jeremy (Tiffany) Hunt-Viehland, and Josh (Taylor) Hunt-Viehland; brother, David (Lisa) Oesch; three sisters, Kimberly Pigue, Joy (Marty) Fink, and Vickie Lake; six grandchildren, Michael, Olivia, Maverick,  Oakley, Donald, and Sadie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis J. Viehland and Carol Ann (Hosack) Viehland; and the children's mother, Sandi Hunt.  

Mark found his greatest enjoyment in the outdoors, whether he was hunting, fishing, or simply spending time in nature. He had a talent for woodworking and took pride in creating things with his own hands. Never one to shy away from hard work, Mark genuinely enjoyed manual labor and found satisfaction in staying busy and tackling any project that came his way. Most of all, he loved his family and spending time with them.
