Marla Harms Obituary

Marla L. Harms of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on March 13, 2024 at the age of 57. She is survived by her father David Harms, mother Molissa (nee: Moore) of Wentzville MO; two brothers, Kevin (Donna) Harms of St. Peters, MO, Martin (Kristine) Harms of Wentzville, MO; many nieces and nephews.

Marla was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where her faith, warmth, and kindness touched the lives of many. She loved to travel, go to rodeos, Elbee’s for their coffee. Country music was more than just a genre to Marla; it was the soundtrack of her life. She found comfort and inspiration in the melodies that spoke to her soul, especially Donnie Osmand. She had a deep affection for animals, particularly dogs and horses. Her love for animals was a testament to her compassionate spirit and nurturing nature. As an aunt, Marla cherished every moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured for generations to come. She learned sign language and taught it to her nephew. They frequently had conversations from across the room from each other, strengthening their special bond. She had a special gift for creating relationships with children. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoyed every minute with them. She won the hearts of so many over the years and will be missed greatly, but her legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
