Martha (Malone) Smith

Martha Smith (nee: Malone) of Lake St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 89. She was the beloved wife of the late Delford Smith and they enjoyed 64 years of marriage prior to his passing. She is survived by her two daughters, Debra (Steven) Rose of Muskogee, OK, Lynn (Nathan) Lowery of Wentzville, MO; grandchildren, Chad (Cynthia) Rose, Jason (Charity) Rose, Nathan Lowery, Jenifer (John) Kelly, Jonathan (Stormy) Wiegand, Ashley Rose (Nestor) Gonzalez; eight, great grandchildren; brother, Charles Malone of Haltom City, TX; three sisters, Ethelene Lamb of Imboden, AR, Shirley (Thomas) Simmons of Grenada, MS, Patricia Whitaker of Grenada, MS; two sister-in-laws, Bonnie Malone of Green Bay, WI, Dorothy Malone of Grenada, MS;  She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Malone, mother, Arizona Malone (nee: Dingler), son, Michael Smith, daughter, Melinda Smith, daughter, Regina Wiegand, brother, Carl Malone, brother, John Malone, sister, Ettie Lee Simmons, sister, Evelyn Newham, sister, Betty Ann Reed.

Martha, attended the Redemption Assembly of God Church in Wentzville, Missouri and was a beloved member of Solid Rock Assembly of God in Senatobia, Mississippi. She was deeply committed to her love of God and loved teaching children about Jesus and the Word of God. She taught Sunday School for over 50 years. Martha enjoyed attending her WOW (Woman Of Worth) group meetings, where she found joy in fellowship and community service. Martha's passions extended beyond her spiritual life; she found happiness in gardening, and her culinary skills brought family and friends together at the table, where her delicious meals were always a highlight. Martha also enjoyed sewing, reading, and shopping, finding creativity and joy in each of these hobbies. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her warm smile, and generous spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
