Marvin Miller of Wright City, Missouri, passed away on January 28, 2025 at the age of 87. He is survived by his son, Tracy Miller of Cedar Hill, MO; three daughters, Christina "Chris" Wilber of Wright City, MO, Vicky (Mark) Ludwig of Columbia, MO, Dana Miller of Dittmer, MO; brother, David (Mary) Miller of St. Louis, MO; sister, Pat Miller of TX; eight grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Miller, mother, Opal Miller (nee: Harris), sons, Michael Miller and Jacob Miller.
Marvin, a devoted man of faith, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and service that touched many lives. Born and raised in the rich soil of Missouri, Marvin was baptized in December 1962, marking the beginning of a lifelong commitment to his faith. He dedicated countless hours working with the youth at Morse Mill Church in Dittmer, Missouri, inspiring the next generation with his unwavering spirit and guidance. A true embodiment of hard work, Marvin spent many years as a truck driver for various companies. His dedication did not stop there; he later found fulfillment in maintenance work at Six Flags, ensuring that many experienced joy at the park. In 2001, Marvin took on a role as a manager and field officer for the little league Grandview School District, where he also dedicated his time as a reading tutor, helping students unlock their potential. Marvin's passion for education extended to his service on the board of the R2 School District in Jefferson County in 2005. His contributions were instrumental in shaping the future of education in his community. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Marvin had a zest for life that was infectious. He found great joy in gardening, nurturing plants and flowers that reflected his loving nature and singing also brought him happiness. Marvin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
