Mary M. Hinkebein

Mary M. Hinkebein of Silex, Missouri passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 95. She was the beloved wife of the late Hilary Hinkebein. She is survived by her son, Ed (Julie) Hinkebein of Silex, MO; three daughters, Barbara Ann Keith of Dardenne, MO, Virginia Moeser of St. Peters, MO, Shirley (Dan) Flack of Foristell, MO; sister, Agnes Moore of Oran, MO; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mary was a member of St. Alphonse Catholic Church and a past member of St. Theodore Catholic Church in Flint Hill, MO.  Among her many hobbies she enjoyed quilting, gardening, fishing, and spending time outdoors.  Mary was well known as a hard worker.  Most of all, she loved spending time with all of her family.    

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph R. and Catherine Spooler nee Koenig, husband, Hilary J. Hinkebein, son, Michael Hinkebein, three brothers, Albert Spooler, Ben Spooler, and John Spooler, two sisters, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Hartman and Bertha Schamberg.
