Mary Rose Simbulan Kidd

Mary Rose Simbulan Kidd “MAYO”, loving wife and mother, age 40, passed away on 5/20/2025 at her home, after a lengthy battle of Breast Cancer surrounded by family.  

Mary Rose was born on January 12th in Taguig City Metro Manila Philippines, to the parents of Salvador and Lusia Simbulan.

Mayo immigrated to the United States in September of 2009 marrying on December 12th to George Kidd at the Church of Christ in Cuyahoga Falls.  Around the love of Family and Friends.

Her ferocious enthusiasm for life, thrill to travel, explore her newfound freedoms, savage appetite for food, and her outgoing and very social wellbeing made her a very lovable individual. 

She is survived by her Husband of over 15 years, George Kidd; daughters Nataile Simbulan Kidd and Gabriella Rosalee Kidd; mother, Luisa Simbulan; sisters, Grace Simbulan-Senier and Mary Joy Simbulan; brothers, John, Peter & Ryan Jy “RJ” Simbulan.  She was preceded in death by her father Salvador Simbulan.

In honoring her wishes, Mary Rose will have memorial service will be held on 5/27/2025 at the Church in the Falls (837 Chestnut Blvd, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) followed by cremation and will be laid to rest at the Glen Rest Memorial Estate alongside family in Columbus, Ohio.
