Matthew Beachum

Matthew Norman Beachum passed away on January 2, 2026 at the age of 38.
Matt was born October 6, 1987 in St. Louis, MO to Norman Beachum and Ruth Marie Beachum nee Winkeler.
Matt graduated after two years at Linn Technical College as a certified aircraft  Airframe and Powerplant mechanic. His most recent years were spend repairing composite helicopter rotor blades. Matt enjoyed hunting, flying his dad's planes; Matt soled the morning of his 16th birthday (legal minimum age) then was driven to the DMV to obtain his drivers license. He enjoyed building and flying model air planes. He also loved his diesel pick up trucks. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Norman and Ruth Beachum,Jr.; daughter, Avery Beachum; three sisters, Laura (Anuj) Gyawali, Amy (Ken) Gouin, Kathleen (Tony) O'Brien. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norman and Emmajean Beachum, maternal grandparents, Bernard and Mary Winkeler.
