Melvin Willis Jones

Melvin Willis Jones passed away on January 20, 2026 at the age of 83. 
Melvin was born July 31, 1942 in Wentzville, MO to the late Jess and Marina Jones nee Morton.

Melvin worked as an operator for years at Binkley and the Clutch Factory in Warrenton. Melvin enjoyed spending time being outdoors, fishing, working on lawn mowers. He loved DJing music for the party's, he would start lining his music up two and three days in advance just to make sure everything was in working order and he just loved listening to music, he loved a good party, and he loved family gatherings.

Melvin  is survived by his daughter, Melvina Jones; four sons, Rodney Jones, Arnold (Mary Kay) Jones, Donald (Tiffany) Jones, Melvonde Jones, Sr.; grandchildren, Jordan (Jessica) Jones, Roderick Wilson, Tyron Wilson, Sarojeni Wilson, Kaneisha Wilson, Pepsi Wilson, Dawn (Matt) Rook, Jayda Jones, Jordan (Ryan) Enzwiler, Justin (Kyrra) Enzwiler, Dere'on Dixon, Melvonde Jones, Jr., Makiya Jones, Antoine Downing, Jr, and Joedale Taylor; 17 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robin Jones, Regina Gibson, Calvin (Cindy) Jones, Rocky (Carol) Jones, Donnalynn (Harry) Bryan, and Vivian Jones; sister-in-law, Bertie Jones; 2 God-daughters, Leona Woolfolk and Chelsey Edwards  He is preceded in death by his father, Jess Jones, mother, Marina Jones, wife, Wilma Jones; siblings, Herman Jones, Howard Jones, LaDale Jones, Antony Jones,Violet Maire, Rodvalla Jones; brother-in-law, John Earl Gibson.

Melvin's smile, passion for music, and a good time will be greatly missed all who knew and loved him.
