Mikeal Albert Reichardt

October 7, 1950 ~ May 2, 2023 (age 72) 72 Years Old


Mikeal Albert Reichardt (72), of Middletown,  Missouri, passed away unexpectedly on May 2, 2023.

Mikeal, known to many as Mike, was born to Charles and Veneta Reichardt, on October 7,1950 in St. Charles,  Missouri.  He was the youngest of five boys. Mike went in to the United States Marine Corps  at the age of 18, and served in the Vietnam War.  While in service, he fought overseas and obtained two purple hearts.  After service, Mike's career was in carpentry,  working in the Carpenters Union of St. Louis. He also owned his own construction business for over 40 years. 

Mike is survived by his brother, Stanley Reichardt  of Hazlewood,  Missouri; his son, Steven (Shawnna) Reichardt of Foristell,  Missouri; his daughter, Mikol (Cody) Gillespie of Silex, Missouri. He leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Dillon, Kate, Brandon, Ashton, Brooke, Neo, and Sky, and 5 great grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces. 

Mike was predeceased by his children, Charles Reichardt and Lacie Reichardt; his brothers, Dave Reichardt, Dan Reichardt, and Steven Reichardt; and his parents,  Charles and Veneta Reichardt. 

Mike's family will host a visitation on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm, with the service to follow. The service will be at Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville, Missouri. Mike will then be cremated and his ashes will be taken out west where he can travel in the mountains once again.
