Norman Winner Obituary

Norman L. Winner passed away on June 30, 2026, at the age of 83.

Born on March 17, 1943, in Minster, Ohio, Norman was the son of Leo and Rosa Winner.

Norman was a man of deep faith and a devoted member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville. He honorably served his country in the Army National Guard.

He dedicated much of his professional life to the airline industry, retiring after a 35+ year career with TWA and American Airlines. Throughout his retirement, Norman remained active in the community. He enjoyed attending senior dances, dinners, and luncheons with the Wentzville senior group and looked forward to gathering with friends at the TWA Breakfast Club.

Norman loved his motorcycles and was a loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan who rarely missed an opportunity to cheer on his favorite team. Above all else, he cherished his family. They were the center of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Carolyn Winner (née Meyer); his three children, Lisa A. (David) Enke of Wildwood, MO, Brad J. (Debbie) Winner of St. Peters, MO, and Brooks A. (Sarah) Winner of Wentzville, MO; brother, Harold Winner of Chatsworth, CA; sister, Evelyn Heitkamp of New Breman, OH; five grandchildren, Michael, Colby, Tyler, Stella, and Nora; one great-granddaughter, Taylor;  He is preceded in death by his father, Leo Winner, mother, Rosa Winner (née Evers), and brothers, Eugene Winner and Earl Winner.

Most of all, he enjoyed his grandkids and spending time with family and friends. Norman was deeply devoted to his family and loved and adored by his wife and children. Norman and Carolyn celebrated 60 years of marriage-a testament to their love. Norman's children always felt his love and care in all he did and in the time he spent with his family.
