Oliver Dennis Hansen

Oliver Dennis Hansen, affectionately known as "Denny," passed away on October 11, 2025 at the age of 81. Denny was born August 14, 1944, son of Oliver and Helen Hansen. He grew up in St. Louis and was a graduate of Normandy High School in 1962. In 1964, after graduating high school, he joined the U. S. Air Force Reserves.  He later met and married his loving wife, Janet. They were married September 2, 1967 and celebrated their 58th anniversary prior to his passing. He and Janet raised their three children, Greg, Susan, and Debbie in Florissant, MO.  After the children were grown they moved to Wentzville, MO. Throughout his life he enjoyed spending time outdoors, going fishing and hunting.  He loved spending time with his family traveling, they went on many travel adventures together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Janet (Antalick) Hansen of Wentzville, Missouri; his three children, Greg (Janet) Hansen of Osage Beach, MO, Susan (Scott) Hansen of St. Charles, MO, Debbie (Mark) Reed of Foristell, MO; sister, Carole Schulz; four grandchildren, Decker Reed, Jagger Reed, Emiley Huighe, Jessica (Scott) Knicl; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Oliver Julius Hansen, mother, Helen Marie (Elhoffer) Hansen.  

Denny will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
