Orville V. Munzer, Jr. passed away on April 3, 2026 at the age of 89 after an extended illness. Orville was born in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Orville, Sr. and Alice Francis Munzer.
Orville married his high school sweetheart Thelma D. (Marcucci) Johnson on September 20, 1958. They were married for 67 years.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma; three children, Michelle Munzer, Laura (Stephen) Gorman, and Charles (Mary) Munzer; four grandchildren, James Kight, Crystal (David) Gorman, Kurtis (Lydiann) Munzer, and Samantha (Philipp) Fox; four great-grandchildren, Tristan, Adam, Luke, and Teddy; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Orville was a devoted and loving family man who enjoyed the St. Louis Cardinals, playing cards with "all his girls", and recording his own mixed tapes titled "Big Orv Show" for family and friends.
Orville loved his family and spending time with them. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.
