Parker Jackson Obituary

On Friday, April 22, 2022, Parker Jackson passed away at the age of 12 years old surrounded by his mom, dad and sister. Parker passed away after an 18 month battle with pediatric cancer. Parker was born on February 2, 2010, to parents Jeff and Angie Jackson, in Wentzville, Missouri.

Parker loved soccer, video games and animals, especially dogs. He took pride in being a big brother to his sister Haley. His favorite time of year was summer when he enjoyed swimming and going to the beach on family vacations.

Parker faced pediatric cancer with a resilience and fortitude that inspired all who knew of his story.

Despite the hardships he was experiencing, he had a passion for serving others. Throughout his journey, he remained positive and continued to light up every room he walked in. Parker will forever be remembered for infectious smile and ability to leave lasting impressions on all those he met.

He is survived by his parents; Jeffrey W. and Angelica M. (Kay) Jackson of Wentzville, Mo; sister, Haley Jackson; grandparents, Paul and Patricia (Mades) Jackson, Sr. of Foristell, MO, Melissa R. (Conway) and Rollie E. Leonberger, Sr., of O'Fallon, MO; four uncles, P. J. (Jenny) Jackson, Andrew (Gabby) Jackson, J. R. (Jen) Wilson, Eric (Risto) Wilson; two aunts, Megan (Jac) Kim and Brittany Leonberger;  He is preceded in death by his grandparent, Russ Wilson. 

Details for A Celebration of Life to be announced in the coming days. On this day the family encourages all who knew Parker to attend, share memories and celebrate his life.

In lieu of flowers, Parker’s family asks that guest donate to the Make-A-Wish Missouri and Kansas organization. The family will be wearing blue to the Celebration of Life and invites guests to join in wearing Parkers favorite color in his honor.
