Patricia Josephine Boylan nee Kurland, 91 of Wright City, MO passed away on May 31, 2026. 

Patricia was born March 19, 1935 in St. Louis, MO to the late John M. and Justina R. Kurland nee Bronakoski. 

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George T. Boylan, daughter, Patricia Mary Boylan, brother, Thomas Kurland, grandson, John E. Stevens, granddaughter, Claire E. Boylan.

Patricia is survived by her children, Catherine Peterson and husband Rik, George Boylan, Tim Boylan and wife Treza, Mike Boylan and wife Connie; brother, Richard Kurland and wife Kathy; proud grandmother to Jack Stevens, Roxanne Cypret, Patricia "Kitty" Cypret, Lowell Boylan, Jake Boylan, Drew Boylan, Patty Ludy, Claire Boylan, John Boylan and Maria Boylan; and great-grandmother to 15 at the time of her passing. 

Ms. Boylan was a bookkeeper for most of her working life with a few years spent working in her own small buisness. She and her husband and several of their friends owned and operated Voyager Travel for many years. She attended Beaumont High School where she first learned her trade at a comptrolling machine (the early precusor to computers). She paused her career after marrying George Boylan on July 2, 1955 and they began their family. Being a very modern woman Pat returned to her job at Wagner Electric where she remained until they left the area. She was very proud of the fact that when Wagner did relocate she was selected as one of the delegates to train the new workers in New York City. 
After Wagner Electric Patricia continued working in corporate America in several buisnesses including; Ackerman and Company, Hosack Plumbing and finally American Pool players. Everywhere she worked she was a valued employee as she was something of a "workaholic". She confided that once she was on a task she couldn't rest until it was finished and finished correctly. 

Pat retired in 2000 and traveled extensively. Before retirement she and George also had traveled a great deal of the world. That was something else that she took a great deal of pride in was her travel and what she learned as an open minded explorer of the world was of great value to her and she showed it with friends and family.  No one ever offered her a trip that she hesitated or refused. She had a very open spirit like that a wonderful confidence in her abilities and a fearlessness that allowed her to continue her travels for many years after George had passed. 
Patricia was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan since her youth. Her family lived near Sportsman Park and they saw many games for the St. Louis Browns and the Cardinals. She remembered seeing the Braves play the Cardinals in the world series. She and her friends would visit Spring Training for the redbirds for many years after George's death. 

Ms. Boylan was very active in Holy Rosary Catholic Church for many years participating in Senior singles, St. Ann's Sodality and many other roles. She loved her parish where she met so many friends for life.
