Patricia Ann Hess (née: Huss) of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on July 18, 2026 at the age of 71. She is survived by her son, Ryan Hess of Saint Louis, MO; daughter, Callee (Nate) Steffler of Troy, MO; sister, Elaine (Wade) Medlar of Prairie Village, KS; two grandchildren, Jace and Sadie; She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Huss, mother, Lorraine Huss (née: Zimmermann).  

Patricia dedicated many years of her career to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), where she served in the Human Resources Department.

Patricia found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved settling down with a good book and was rarely without her beloved Dr Pepper close by. She enjoyed watching crime documentaries, and she also had a creative spirit and thoroughly enjoyed making beautiful stained-glass pieces.

Above all else, Patricia treasured her family. Being a grandmother was one of her greatest joys, and she adored her grandchildren beyond measure. She cherished every moment spent with them and created countless memories they will hold close to their hearts.

Christmas was Patricia's favorite time of year. She delighted in decorating her home, collecting Hallmark ornaments, and celebrating the season surrounded by those she loved. Her holiday traditions brought warmth, joy, and lasting memories to her family.

Patricia faced her illness with incredible strength, courage, and determination. She never complained, remaining resilient and steadfast throughout her journey. 

Patricia will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
