Patrick Piel

Patrick Piel of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 73. He is survived by one son, Patrick Piel; four brothers, Dennis Piel, David (Debbie) Piel, Danny (Kathy) Piel, and Chris (Barb) Piel; many nieces, nephews, family and friends. He is preceded in death by father, John Piel, mother, Elizabeth Piel (née: Cordes), brother, John Thomas Piel, and sister, Kathie Feissner.  

Patrick was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and was a proud graduate of Ft. Zumwalt High School in O’Fallon, Missouri. He had a deep love for travel and embraced the opportunity to explore the world, with a special connection to India. 

Patrick later made his home in Fairfield, Iowa, where he devoted himself to the study, practice, and teaching of Transcendental Meditation. He found great purpose in sharing this knowledge with others.
Patrick will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
