Paul Frederick Kemner, of Augusta, Missouri, passed into the arms of his Savior on August 17, 2025 at the age of 98.
Born on February 13, 1927, he was the son of Almon, and Helen (nee: Volkerding) Kemner.
Paul is survived by his loving wife Bernice Rose Kemner (nee: Frankenberg); four children, Don (Michelle) Kemner of Boise, ID; Sandi (the late David) Bahr of Chesterfield, MO, Cheryl (Michael) Graham of Jonesboro, AR, Sr. Cheryl Kemner of St. Louis, MO; sister, Peggy Massmann of Augusta, MO; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his Father, Almon Kemner, mother Helen Kemner (nee: Volkerding), and brother, Robert Kemner.
Paul and his beloved wife Bernice were blessed with 75 years of marriage, sharing a life filled with love, adventure, and family. Together, they raised four children, Don, Sandi, Cheryl and Sr. Cheryl. A proud veteran, Paul served in the United States Army during World War II. His commitment to service continued throughout his life, as he was a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception Church in Augusta, a dedicated member of the American Legion Post 262, and was a volunteer firefighter for the Augusta Fire Department for many years. Paul was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, always finding ways to give back to his church and community. Paul and Bernice shared a love of travel, making memories together as they visited every state in America. Paul cherished his community, his family, and his many friends and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
