Paul E. Kessler

Paul Eric Kessler, 63, of Defiance, Missouri was brought home to the Lord on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

Paul was born on May 5, 1962 the oldest of four to Harvey and Norma (nee Wesbecher) Kessler in Columbia, Missouri. He was joined in holy matrimony to Sandy Luttrell, the love of his life, on June 22, 1985 at Saint Norbert Catholic Church in Florissant, Missouri.

Paul was a loving and faithful husband, a beloved father and an adored grandfather. He had the heart of a servant, donating his time, talent and treasure to countless wonderful causes, most notably the Boy Scouts of America. When he wasn’t away at Scout Camp, you could find him by the pool (cleaning it) or at the lake on his boat (also cleaning it). He had the mind of an engineer. There was nothing he couldn’t do or fix (except this one SeaDoo). He enjoyed tinkering in his shop, and he loved his puppies.

Paul is survived by his wife, Sandy of Defiance, Missouri, his children, Eric (Kaitlyn) Kessler, of Washington, Missouri, Kathryn ‘Katy’ Kessler (Daryn Holder), of Springfield, Missouri, Ethan Kessler, of Saint Charles, Missouri, and his grandchildren, Kallie Rose and William ‘Liam’ Kessler of Washington, Missouri.
