Peggy Ettien (nee: Wooldridge) of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on April 11, 2025 at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late David Ettien. She is survived by her son, Daniel Ettien of Wentzville, MO; daughter, Terry Ettien of Wentzville, MO; three siblings, Nancy (John) Mannion of Rock Hill, SC, Richard Wooldridge of Saint Louis, MO, Susan Dusin of MO; three grandchildren, Matthew (Crystal) Ettien, Emily Ettien, Allana (Thomas) Hill; great grandchildren, Grayson, Bella, Shawn, Alora, Torren; She is preceded in death by her father, Theo Wooldridge, mother, Gladys Wooldridge (nee: Smith), Bertha Mae Lewis, Joyce Meadows, Beth Davis, Shirley Warner.
For many years , Peggy faithfully served as the church secretary at Lake Saint Louis Baptist Church, where she was also a beloved nursery worker.
Peggy had a deep love for nature and found joy in gardening. Together with her husband, she cultivated a large garden, and their yard blossomed with colorful flowers and thriving plants. Watching birds gather at the feeders in her backyard brought her daily happiness and peace. She was an avid reader of fiction and always had a book nearby.
Above all, Peggy treasured time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her legacy lives on in the lives of those she loved and nurtured. She will be remembered for her kind spirit, strong faith and her favorite saying, "you should always eat dessert first." Peggy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
