Rhonda Sue (Paasch) Ashley

Rhonda Sue Ashley of Montgomery City passed away on March 2, 2026 surrounded by her beloved family at the age of 66. 
Rhonda was born December 19, 1959 in St. Charles, MO to the late Earl and Shirley Paasch nee Ritchhart. 
Rhonda attended Francis Howell High School, after high school. On July 14, 1979 she married the love of her life Johnny Ashley in New Melle. To this union they had 2 children Jesse Daniel and Nathan Ray. 
Rhonda's greatest pleasure was her family, she loved her family and took great pride in raising in her children and also helping to raise her grandchildren. Rhonda was very crafty, loved drawing, puzzles, animal lover, and she had numerous fish tanks that she loved to take care of. Rhonda loved a good deal, whether it was at a yard sale, thrift store, or Dillards she would find you the best bargain for your dollar. She was the most kind, selfless loving, and sassiest woman who would give of her time to help any one especially her family even up until her last few days on earth.
Rhonda  is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years John Ashley of the home; two sons, Jesse Daniel Ashley  Nathan Ray Ashley; brother in law, Terry Barnes; three grandchildren Whitney (Kagen) Boyden, Nataley Cochran and Crypten Cochran; great-granddaughter, Ellie Rose Boyden; great-grandson, Declan James Boyden; two nieces, Krista Howard, Jesseca Barnes; one nephew, Isaiah Barnes; four sister-in-laws, Patricia (Mike) Stonebarger, Jeanie (Jerry) George, Donna (Brian) Wall, Lynn (A.J.) Bartlett; bonus sister, Debbie Kitson.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and  sister, Anita Barnes.  
Rhonda's giving and loving heart will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
