Rhonda Soltesz Obituary

Rhonda Faye Soltesz, age 56, of Wentzville, Missouri, passed from this life on Friday, January 16, 2026, after a devastating lung disease. Yet, she was surrounded by the unconditional love of her family and dear friends at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.

Rhonda was born of Friday, June 20, 1969, in St. Louis, MO. She was born and raised in perfect harmony. Every cell, every fiber of her being, was orchestrated to sing praises to our Savior. Living for God, working for God, teaching, singing, praising, praying, being faithful to the house of the Lord, and seeking the presence of the Lord were the number one lessons of life, consistently taught by mom and dad.

Rhonda was employed with Centene, formerly known as Optum, as a remote Clinical Investigator. She attended Gateway College of Evangelism, where she graduated with a 2 year degree in music. She has blessed so many lives with her anointed angelic voice. Rhonda’s hobbies included gardening, utilizing her green thumb, and a love for beautiful flowers. She loved socializing with her friends and family (our social butterfly), spending as much time with her grandbabies, making sure her family was taken care of even until the very end, and being the ‘Queen of Coffee Memes’.

Rhonda lived a life filled with laughter, some “practical jokes”, including church toilet paper, and laxatives in cookies for a visiting minister, and offering such love for people. She was a true example of not only a Christian lady, but a representative of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Rhonda married the love of her life, Kyle J. Soltesz on June 24, 2023. Though their time together was far too short, the years Rhonda spent with Kyle were the happiest and most fulfilling of her life.

Rhonda will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband, Kyle J. Soltesz of Wentzville, MO; her parents, Ronald and Judith Lambert of Wentzville, MO; her son, Logan Bettey (McKenna) of Florissant, MO; her brother, Ronald Jr (Judy) Troy MO; her grandchildren, Rylan Asher (7) and Brooklyn Jeanette (3); her father-in-love, William Soltesz, Ostrander, OH; her daughter-in-love, Katelynn Soltesz, Columbus, OH; her son in love, Ryan Soltesz, Columbus, OH; her grand loves, Korenza (11); Carlino (10) and Jaxtyn (7). Many aunts, uncles, and very close cousins.

Even until the very end, Rhonda’s faith remained strong. Without any remaining strength, yet her hands raised, with only His breath… in her lungs… only able to move her lips every so often, as family and friends sang in harmony in the hospital room. Her spirit strengthened to worship her King as His Presence began to usher into the room to finally take her home.

A celebration of Rhonda’s life will be held at the Cornerstone Apostolic Church of Wentzville 452 May Rd. Wentzville, MO 63385 on January 22, 2026 from 11:30A.M. to 1:30P.M.  with funeral services following at 1:30P.M. Interment will follow at Wright City Cemetery, Wright City, MO.
