Riley Shea (Reddin) Washington Obituary

Riley Shea Washington passed away on July 25, 2026, at the age of 31.

Riley was born on December 2, 1994, to Mark and Deanna Reddin. She graduated from Parkway South High School with the Class of 2013. Riley attended Mineral Area College and Missouri Baptist University on basketball scholarships where she  earned her bachelor's degree in Business Administration.

At Missouri Baptist University, Riley met her husband, Mason Washington, and married on September 3, 2023.  Riley and Mason accomplished their goals of buying a home and welcomed their first born son, Jace, on May 31, 2024.  Becoming a mother brought Riley immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with him.

Riley was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, granddaughter, and friend.  She brought warmth and an uplifting spirit to everyone she loved.  She cared for her family with deep patience and a kind heart, listened to her friends with genuine compassion, and made every single day brighter for all those around her.

Riley is survived by her husband, Mason Washington; her son, Jace Washington; her parents, Mark and Deanna Reddin; her sister, Sydney Reddin;  grandmother, Brenda Daugherty; her godmother, Carrie Notheis; father- and mother-in-law, Marlon and Regina Washington;  along with extended family and a large circle of friends.

She was preceded in death by her infant son, Noah Lewis Washington; her grandfather, Benjamin Daugherty; her grandmother, Mary Reddin; and her aunts, Denise and Elizabeth Reddin.

Though her time here was far too short, Riley's kindness, compassionate, and unconditional love for her family leave behind a legacy that will continue to shine through all those whose lives she touched. She will be remembered always and loved forever.
