Rita DePolito (née: Boyer) of Wentzville, Missouri, passed away on July 29, 2026 at the age of 84. She was the beloved wife of the late James DePolito; She is survived by her son, Scott (Mary) DePolito of Lake St. Louis, MO; daughter, Angela (John) Brandt of O' Fallon, MO; brother, Mark (Sherri) Boyer of Arnold, MO; sister, Patricia Haas of DeSoto, MO; five grandchildren, Angelo, Marissa, Miles, Kaylee and Lukas; She is preceded in death by her father, Alfred Boyer, mother, Caroline Boyer (née: Bange), and brother, Ronald Boyer.
Rita was united in marriage to the love of her life, James, and together they shared 59 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2022. Their marriage was blessed with two children.
She was a faithful member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. She found great happiness in traveling, especially trips to the beach. Rita was an avid football fan and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys.
Christmas was Rita's favorite time of year. She delighted in decorating, and creating cherished memories with those she loved most. Above all, Rita treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and she will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
