Robert Hutton Schrader of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 93. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley Schrader (née: Swyers) of Saint Charles, Missouri; five children, Kurt Schrader, Linda (Larry) Wondra, John (Ashley) Stephens, Deborah (Brad) Phelps; and Carmen (Ron) Cameron; sixteen, grandchildren; nine, great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Linda Stephens; He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Schrader, mother, Mary Schrader (née: Hutton), son, Carlis Stephens, sister, Merle (Howard) Newell of St. Paul, MN; three brothers, Phillip (Valerie Taylor) Schrader of Forsyth, MO, Carlton "Bud" (Mavis Jensen) Schrader of Peachtree City, GA, and Lyle (Betty Larson) Schrader of Northfield, MN. 

After attending the University of Minnesota, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree, Bob proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 20 years. During his distinguished military career, he flew as a USAF Pilot and Instructor Pilot, mentoring and training future generations of aviators before retiring from military service.

In 1994, Bob married the love of his life, Shirley, and together they built a life filled with love.

Following his retirement from the Air Force, Bob continued his love of flying as a commercial pilot for 27 years.

Beyond his accomplishments in aviation, Bob was an avid motorcyclist who embraced adventure at every opportunity. Alongside his beloved wife, Shirley, he traveled more than 100,000 miles on their BMW motorcycle, creating cherished memories while exploring every state in the lower 48. 

Bob will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
