It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Andrew Flowers, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and proud Marine, who lived life fully and on his own terms.

For 45 wonderful years, he shared his life with the love of his life, his beloved wife, Penny Lynn Flowers, including 38 years of marriage filled with laughter, loyalty, and unwavering companionship. Together they built a life centered around family, adventure, and simple joys.

He was a loving father to Katelyn(Joe) Birdsell and David Flowers, and grandfather to Gracie Birdsell.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps, carrying the values of honor, strength, and dedication throughout his life.

Bob truly lived his best life doing the things he loved most - antiquing in search of hidden treasures, fishing quiet waters, hunting in the great outdoors, and taking endless drives simply for the joy of the journey. He appreciated life’s little moments and never needed a destination to enjoy the ride.

Those who knew him will remember his strong spirit, his love for his family, and the way he found happiness in everyday adventures. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories he created with those he loved will remain forever in their hearts.

He is survived by his loving wife, Penny Flowers nee Warren of Troy, Missouri; his son, David  Flowers; daughter, Katelyn (Joseph) Birdsell; five siblings, Debbie  Scott, Judy Beucler, Michael Flowers, Susan (Kevin) Harrod, Karen  Lambert;  He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Flowers, mother, Dorothy Flowers nee Glastetter.  

May he rest peacefully, reunited with the calm waters, open roads, and endless horizons he loved so dearly.
