Rodney Allen Hume, age 100 years, of Lake St. Louis passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2020. 

He is survived by one son, John Hume and wife, Joyce of Lake St. Louis; one daughter, Brandy Ford and husband, Randy of Texas; six grandchildren, Tonya Alexander, Katie Woodard, Elizabeth Miller, Zachary Hume, Jacob Hume, and Hannah Hume; other relatives, and friends.

Mr. Allen was born July 20, 1919 in Mexico, Missouri; son of the late John Pritchit Hume and wife, Sarah Flossie Butler Hume. He was married to Dorothy Mae Cox Hume.

Mr. Allen served his country in the United States Army during World War II and the Korean War. He retired after 40 years as District Safety Manager at Roadway Trucking. He was a member of Tri County Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Hume, step-son, David Miller, and brother, Pritchit Butler Hume.

He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
