Roger David Brown passed away on June 14, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Utica, New York, he was the son of Joseph and Arrietta Brown, Sr.
Roger married his lovely wife, Lorraine, and together they shared a lifetime of memories.
Growing up in New York, Roger remained a devoted New York Yankees fan throughout his life. He enjoyed playing recreational softball with Ozark Airlines and had a special appreciation for old movies, especially those starring Judy Garland. He also loved old-time country music, reading the newspaper, traveling, learning about the history of past wars, spending time at Ameristar Casino, and going on walks and with his loyal canine companion, Mystee.
Roger is survived by his daughter, Susan (John) Terrana of Moscow Mills, Missouri; his two brothers, Joseph A. (June) Brown, Jr. and Dennis Brown; his two sisters, Arrietta (Donald) Weed and Priscilla (Bob) Schmitter; his grandson, Austin (Kayla) Miller.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine (Rothdiener) Brown; his son, Roger David Brown, Jr.; his parents, Joseph A. Brown, Sr. and Arrietta P. (Caille) Brown; his brother, Charles Brown; his sister, Dolores Turr; and his faithful canine companion, Mystee.
Roger will be remembered for his love of family and the simple pleasures that brought him joy throughout his 88 years.
The family is being served by Pitman Funeral Home in Wentzville.
