Roger L. Durkee

Roger L. Durkee of Winfield, MO passed away Friday, September 5, 2025 at the age of 82 years.

Roger is survived by his four children, John Durkee and wife, Lori of Winfield, MO, Joseph Durkee and wife, Nettie of Copperopolis, CA, Mona Linton of Warrenton, MO, and Rebecca Gillespie of Atoona, IA; 11 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.

Roger Lee Durkee was born June 26, 1943 in Connecticut; son of the late Gibby and Viola Durkee. He was married April 18, 1964 in Fremont, CA to his lovely wife, Linda T. Durkee (Dinardo). They were married 57 years prior to her passing September 13, 2021. 

He was a devoted fan of John Wayne Westerns, finding joy in the timeless stories of the American frontier and was gifted with a natural talent for drawing cartoons. 

Roger is preceded in death by his brother, Gibby Durkee, Jr. and his wife, Gail, his wife, Linda, and his parents.
