Roger W. Schone

Roger W. Schone of Troy, Missouri passed away on August 28, 2023 at the age of 72.  Roger was born November 7, 1950, son of the late Harvey and Geneva (Kuchler) Schone.  He later met and married Hazel Drowns; they were married for 47 years (maybe 48 years).  Roger proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War and on August 12, 2022 he was able to go on Central Missouri Honor Flight #64.  He loved fishing and was always ready to go fishing in any spot he could find.  Along with fishing, he enjoyed boating and camping with family.

He is survived by his wife; Hazel (Drowns) Schone of Troy, Missouri; his three children, Michelle Blei, Chas (John) Tryon, Steven (Jennifer) Schone; sister, Norma Jean Dunlap; six grandchildren, Amanda, Colt (Amber), Jayson (Brittanie), Kirstie (Elijah), Layne, Logan; nine great-grandchildren, Dezzie, Landon, Liliana, Chayton, Haydon, Thomas, Jaxson, Keaton, and Layla;  He is preceded in death by his father, Harvey Schone, mother, Geneva (Kuchler) Schone, brother, Harold Schone, sister, Judy Ham, and granddaughter, Amber Stotler.
