Ronald J. Brendel

Ronald Joseph Brendel of Wentzville, MO passed away on January 20, 2023 at the age of 67. He was the beloved husband of Shihong "Anna" Song Brendel of Wentzville, Missouri; He is survived by his wife; three daughters, Ashley (Matt) Moore of Springfield, MO, Sarah (Wes Harper) Brendel of O'Fallon, MO, Jenny (Ryan Roach) Gao of Blue Springs, MO; brother, Don G. (Mona) Brendel of New Melle, MO; brother-in-law, Dale Winkler of Florissant, MO;  four grandchildren, Mia, Kyan, Alana,  and Kaedren;  He is preceded in death by his father, Leroy A. Brendel, mother, Margaret A. (Gilgum) Brendel, sister, Debbie Winkler.  
 
Ronald was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Wentzville, MO, a member of the Herpetological Society of St. Louis, and a member of St. Vincent de Paul.  He enjoyed photography, reading, hunting, fishing, traveling, rock hunting, and building.  He loved the world of science, but most of all he loved his family and friends.  He was a very proud Papa and cherished time spent with his grandchildren and extended family.
