Ronald L. French passed away on September 4, 2023 at the age of 96. He is survived by his son, Ronald L. (Kathy) French, Jr. of Logan, UT; daughter, Sharon "Sherri" (Ken) Bloms of Foristell, MO; sister, Donna L. Hunnicutt of Cheyenne, WY; three grandchildren, Jason (Amy) Bloms, Michelle (Jared) Bruns, Rich (Laura) French; five great-granddaughters; two great grandsons; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Dorothy French nee Wake, father, Frederick "Fred" L. French, mother, Frances M. French nee McClure, brothers, Donald, Kenneth, and James French, sisters, Ruth Duffy and Vanda Doyle, grandson, Jeffery French.
Ronald (Ron) was a Veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a Rotarian, Mason, and life long member of the Methodist Church. He was involved in the communities he lived in as President of the Chamber of Commerce, Director of United Way and Director at two banks. In August, 1988 he retired after 36 years with Public Service Company of Colorado. He and his wife then moved to Leisure World in Mesa AZ where they lived for 25 years. They enjoyed golfing, swimming , riding bikes, playing in a bridge group and attending many dances. In May of 2014 they moved to Missouri to be closer to their daughter and family.
