Ronald George Conrad Ries

Ronald George Conrad Ries of Wentzville, Missouri passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at the age of 82 years.
He is survived by two children, Kurt Ries and wife, Sheri of Barnhart, MO and Kelly Schoonover and husband, Bob of Wentzville; six grandchildren, Kyle Ries and wife, Angela, Kristin Jimenez and husband, Jeremy, Todd Ries, Samantha Fox and husband, Andrew, Christian Schoonover, and Nathan Schoonover; five great grandchildren, Michael Westhoff and wife, Courtney, Branden Westhoff, Joel Ries, Levi Jimenez, and Miles Jimenez; one great great grandson, Wyatt Westhoff; two brothers, Roger Ries and wife, Hilda of Virginia and Rodney Ries and wife, Jan of St. Louis; other relatives, and many friends.
Ronald graduated from Roosevelt High School in St. Louis, where he met the love of his life, Shirley Bauman.  They were married on July 9, 1958.  He was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army.  He worked in sales most of his life and enjoyed working the front desk at his daughter and son-in-law’s gym, Armstrong Health & Fitness in Troy, MO.
He was a member of the Church of God a Worldwide Association.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, running, his grand dogs, traveling, and watching FOX News.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley on January 26, 2021 and one brother, Rory Ries.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
