Ronald “Ron” Dean Reynolds, age 78, passed away on December 26, 2025.
Ron was born on September 22, 1947, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Aaron and Eulah (Gordon) Reynolds.
He graduated from the Oregon County R-IV School District in Alton, Missouri, in 1965.
On January 13, 1968, he married the love of his life, Kathryn “Kathy” McLaughlin, at Birch Valley Baptist Church in Birch Tree, Missouri. Together they shared a lifetime of love, family, and devotion.
Ron retired in July 2010 from GKN Aerospace/Boeing in Hazelwood, Missouri. He was a proud member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local 837, and dedicated 53 years to union membership-something he valued deeply.
Above all else, Ron cherished his family, especially his grandchildren, whom he adored and loved to tease. Family always came first, and anyone who spent time with Ron knew that asking about one family member meant hearing proudly about them all. His interests included classic rock and country music, CB radios, electronics, and cars.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife, Kathryn “Kathy” Reynolds (née McLaughlin); his three sons, Brian (Shelley) Reynolds, Keith (Jamie) Reynolds, and Kelly Reynolds; ten grandchildren, Kaitlynn Reynolds, Heather Reynolds, Kailee (Brandon) Winklemann, Austin (fiancée Kayla Brown) Reynolds, Mya (Elijah) Dozier, Hailey Reynolds, Mac Kenzie Reynolds, Emma Reynolds, Andrew Reynolds, and Scarlett Reynolds; and one great-grandbaby, Winnie Dozier.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aaron Reynolds, and his mother, Eulah (Gordon) Reynolds.
Ron will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his strong work ethic, and the pride he took in those he loved.
