Ronald (Ron) Wisniewski Obituary

Fortified with the sacraments of the Holy Mother Church, Ronald (Ron) Wisniewski passed away on July 14, 2021 at the age of 73. He was the beloved husband of Nicala Wisniewski nee Briscuso of O'Fallon, Missouri. He is survived by his son, Christopher (Kathie) Wisniewski of Warrenton, MO; daughter, Carrie (Michael) Backers of Winfield, MO; mother, LaVerne Wisniewski nee Graflage of St. Charles, MO; three sisters, Patricia (Don) Funke of Chesterfield, MO, Cheryl (Glen) Cuppy of O'Fallon, MO, and Donna (Randy) Laxton of Wappappello, MO; and four grandchildren, Kyle, Christy, Nicayla, and William. He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Wisniewski; and sister, Diana Stevens.  Ron proudly served in the US Airforce both here and abroad.  He also was a member of Assumption Catholic Church, the Masonic Lodge Bridgeton No. 80 AF & AM, Sigma Phi Tau Fraternity, and the boating club, Anchor Yankers. Ron enjoyed a variety of hobbies including boating, camping, and fishing; making silk flower arrangements and woodworking; and following politics as he held strong Republican views. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family and was a wonderful husband, father, son, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Assumption Catholic Church or Masses; in care of Pitman Funeral Home, PO Box 248, Wentzville, MO 63385.
