Ruth Ann Clukey

Ruth Ann Clukey passed away on October 13, 2023 at the age of 80.

Ruth was born June 19, 1943 in Dardenne, Missouri, daughter of the late Adolph Hemmer and Coletta (Cordes) Hemmer.  She later met and married her husband, David Clukey.  She and David were married 40 years and had known each other for over 60 years.

She is survived by her husband, David Clukey of Lake St. Louis, Missouri; her brother, Tom (Kathleen) Hemmer of Old Monroe, MO; four sisters, Kathy Garza of St. Peters, MO, Betty (Norm) Noah of St. Charles, MO, Alice (Tom) Medler of Wentzville, MO, Nancy Dixon of Macon, MO; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Adolph Hemmer, mother, Coletta (Cordes), brother, Ken Hemmer, and sister, Sister Jeanette Hemmer.

Ruth and David enjoyed going to Maine, where they spent 6 months every year and returned to Missouri for the remainder of the year.  They also liked to travel and visited many countries over the years.  Ruth enjoyed reading, sitting by a campfire, boating at Lake of the Ozarks, and eating her favorite treat-ice cream.  Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
