Ruth Ann (Wilson) Heck

Ruth Ann Heck (nee: Wilson) of Defiance, Missouri, passed away on May 3, 2025 at the age of 82. She is survived by her son, Don (Jan) Muschany of Defiance, MO; two grandchildren, Ellen and Adler; companion, Jay Fadler. She is preceded in death by her father, David Wilson, mother, Dorothy Wilson (nee: Brown), two deceased husbands, five deceased brothers, and two deceased sisters. 
  
Ruth was a vibrant spirit who embraced life with enthusiasm and a zest for adventure. Ruth cherished her travels, spending her summers in the beauty of Canada and her winters soaking up the sun in Arizona. Her love for exploration extended to the open road, where she found joy in traveling to various destinations in her RV. An avid outdoorswoman, Ruth delighted in fishing, hunting, and nurturing her garden filled with vibrant flowers. Ruth was well-known in the community for her exceptional cooking and baking skills, with her pies being a cherished favorite among family and friends. Additionally, she took great pleasure in collecting rocks. Most importantly, Ruth adored her grandchildren, relishing every moment spent with them. She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
