Ruth Mae (Talley) Hill

Ruth  Hill  of New Florence, passed away on April 1, 2026 at the age of 84.

Ruth was born November 13, 1941 in Neelyville, MO to the late Woodrow and Chloie Talley nee Abbott. 
Ruth had a true love for Jesus Christ, and was a great Evangelist for speaking to others about Christ, and being a great steward of the Lord. She was always willing to help others, be a listening ear, and was one who people would always go to for advice, especially the nurses at Aspire New Florence. Ruth loved to crochet, cook, bake, and take care of her family. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, they are what kept her going, she loved to watch them grow up and become parents themselves. Ruth was a breast cancer survivor from 1986, when they only gave her 6 months, she decided that she would give her cancer to God and he in turn gave her a whole new life. The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Aspire Senior Living New Florence for all the love and compassion given to Ruth over the years.

Ruth is survived by her children, Patrick (Barbara) Hill, Kevin (Becky) Hill, Daniel (Becky) Hill, and Connie Nelson; 15 grandchildren, Brittany, Lacey, Kody, Brent, Austin, Christian, Justin, Dalton, Sabrina, Erin, Destiny, Brandon, Gavin, P.J., Tristin; 7 great-grandchildren, Jaden, Syrus, Ivy, Addison, Harper, Anastasia, and Axton; siblings, Ron (Judy) Talley, Jim (Valerie) Talley, Betty Basinger, Bonnie Polston; dear friends Carolyn Joyce and Mary Brown.   She  is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Larry  Hill, brother, Bill Talley, son-in-law, William  Nelson; 2 brother-in-laws, J.F. Basinger, and Gary Polston.

Ruth's loving heart, beautiful smile, and love for Jesus will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
