Samuel "Sam" Neal Housewright

Samuel "Sam" Neal Housewright of O' Fallon, Missouri, passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 69. He is survived by his two brothers, David (Christina) Housewright of Warrenton, MO, Keith (Helen) Housewright of St. Jacob, IL;  two sisters, Amy (DeWayne) Lincoln of St. Charles, MO, Joyce (Dale) Short of Wentzville, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Housewright, mother, Patricia Meader (née: Mound), brother, Charlie Housewright.  

Sam proudly worked as a carpenter for over 50 years and was a dedicated member of Carpenters Local 1875. He was known for his hardworking nature, craftsmanship, and ability to fix just about anything. Sam enjoyed collecting all kinds of treasures and had a special love for working on old trucks.
Sam also faithfully attended AA meetings and valued the friendships and support he found there, proudly knowing “A Friend of Bill W.” 
Sam will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
