Sandra Carey

Sandra Marie Carey passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 77. Sandra was born January 15, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to the late John and Mary Apollo, Jr nee Morgan.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Mark Carey of O Fallon, Missouri; two sons, Mark Carey, Jr. and his wife Angela of O'Fallon, MO, James Carey of Wright City, MO and his significant other Janet Hoffman of Elizabethtown, KY; grandson, Logan Carey of O'Fallon, MO; sister, Pamela Sue (Rick) Apollo Guilander of Ladue, MO; brother-in-law, Earl Carey of Chesterfield, MO; sister-in-law, Bernice Apollo of Wake Forest, NC; two step-granddaughters, Audrey Christopher, Makayla Hoffman; 5 nieces Allison, Kristen, Megan, Katie and Amy; 1 nephew Ben; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, John Anthony Apollo, Sr., mother, Mary Ellen Apollo, brother, John Apollo, Jr. 

Sandra enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was an animal lover, but especially loved her dogs. Sandra's legacy of kindness, love and devotion to her family will endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
