Sandra Sansevere Obituary

Sandra "Sandy" Ann Sansevere passed away on March 21, 2024 at the age of 64. Sandy was born April 25, 1959, daughter of Edward and Vita Diepenbrock.

Sandy was a compassionate healthcare provider, having earned a Bachelor's Degree that brought her into a fulfilling career as a Respiratory Therapist. Sandy's caring nature extended beyond her professional life and was felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Married to her beloved husband, Tom, for 33 wonderful years. They shared an adventurous spirit, often traveling to new and exciting places. Among their favorite destinations was the beautiful islands of Hawaii, which they visited together, creating memories that would last a lifetime. Their journey also took them to London, where they even managed to catch a St. Louis baseball game, combining their love of travel with their passion for sports. Sandy was an avid sports fan, her enthusiasm for the Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Blues hockey team knew no bounds.

A woman of many interests, Sandy embraced the outdoors with a unique twist, engaging in what she fondly referred to as "Glamping." Her zest for life shone through in her love for Mardi Gras celebrations, where she not only reveled in the festivities but also participated in the parade. Christmas held a special place in Sandy's heart as her favorite time of the year. It was during the holiday season that her home became a haven of warmth, that was filled with the laughter of family and friends. Her love for her loved ones was the cornerstone of her existence, and it was in these cherished moments that Sandy's spirit truly shone. Sandy will be remembered as a loving and friendly soul, whose courage in the face of life's challenges inspired those around her. She was a woman who lived her life with an open heart, welcoming all who crossed her path with open arms and a ready smile. To say that Sandy will be deeply missed is an understatement. Yet, her legacy of love, friendship, and courage will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. As we bid farewell to Sandra "Sandy" Ann Sansevere, we do so with gratitude for the time we shared with her and the countless ways she enriched our lives.
