Shane Michael Nichols passed away on July 27th, 2020 at the age of 39. He was born August 14th, 1980 in Winfield, Kansas to Larry D. Nichols and Pamela A. Kachulis (Muller). He leaves behind the love of his life, Becky Otten of St. Peters. Shane was a loving and devoted father to his 6 beautiful children; Makaylah Nichols (20) of Wentzville; Kylie (16), Aiden (9), Elijah Nichols (8), and Noah Nichols (6) of St. Peters, MO; and Trey Wedd (25) of Winfield, KS. He also leaves behind his loving mother Pamela (Phillip) Kachulis of Troy,MO. He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Nichols, and his grandmother Helen O.Muller.Shane also leaves behind his brother Casey Long of Kansas City, MO and his sister Laura Kachulis of Troy, MO. In addition, Shane leaves behind many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews and dear friends.
Shane attended Claude Brown Elementary School in Troy MO, and Winfield High School in Winfield, Kansas and ITT tech in St. Louis. He worked as a laborer since he was a teenager. He loved his work and being in the outdoors.His time was spent with his family which was his favorite place to be and they were his life and purpose in his life. He also enjoyed fishing and video games. He was an avid sports fan both in St. Louis and in Kansas. Shane drew his strength from his family and from his faith in God. Shane was hardworking with a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Shane was a loving husband, father, son, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend to many. Shane had an impact on every person that he met. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
